Dr.Ship: procurement and freight from Chinese factories to the GCC, headquartered in Kuwait
Dr.Ship (دكتور شيب) is a procurement management company headquartered in Kuwait. We buy from Chinese factories on behalf of businesses and deliver their goods across the six GCC countries: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. You can hire us for procurement, for freight, or for both.
We find the right factory, request quotations and negotiate, arrange samples and inspect the goods before they ship, and nothing ships until you approve it. If you buy from several factories, we consolidate your goods at our Foshan warehouse and ship them together by sea or air, with clearance and delivery to your warehouse door. We also supply machinery and complete production lines to factories, such as water bottling, plastics and packaging lines.
We have operated since 2016, with bases in Yiwu, Guangzhou and Foshan. We have priced more than 6,000 products, work with more than 800 vetted suppliers, have delivered more than 6,900 quotations and serve more than 600 business accounts.

Ten years between Chinese factories and Gulf markets taught us one lesson: importing doesn't need another middleman. It needs one party accountable from the factory gate to your customer's door, and honest numbers that don't change on arrival. This is Dr.Ship's story, from the first carton to today.
We started with a study, not a campaign
Before selling the service, we lived it: importing for small companies to understand the trade from the inside. Where time is lost, where cost leaks, and what actually deserves to be built.
The first consolidated container
The experiment matured into a service: merging several customers' goods into shared sea containers and regular air shipments, at one final price, from the factory gate to the customer's door.
Government-sector trust
We began supplying government entities. That procurement runs to a higher standard of documentation and rigour, and it raised every standard we had.
The COVID years: the real test
The world stopped and demand for medical and consumable supplies surged. We played a real part in keeping supply chains open for Kuwait and the Gulf, and through the hardest period global freight has known, the goods arrived.
The operation scales
We grew through social channels, the customer base grew with us, and so did the internal systems that run every shipment and every quotation.
Specialisation: machinery and consumables
We focused where our value is highest: supplying machinery and complete production lines to factories, and recurring consumables to projects. Procurement management first, with freight as its completing link.
Ten years of data working for our clients
Our systems now run conversations, procurement and quotations in one place, and we launched the Open Price Program for GCC businesses: managed procurement with open books and fixed fees stated in writing up front. Everything learned in ten years now works inside every quote we send.
